I want to share a special event that i had the honor to take part in.
On April 29 2012 15 thousand Jews and none Jews people came to rancho park to celebrate state of Israel independent day and the 64 birthday of my country.
In that program that was host by the ILC.
I had the chance to warm up my favorite singer and an amazing person
The greatest EYAL GOLAN.
That came all the way from Israel.
I was chosen to warm up eyal golan on that day. And it took me
10 years back to an apartment in REHOVOT ISRAEL.
To a private party that was happening at eyal golan friend house.
I remember my friend AVI STAHINER that was playing keyboard for me as an new and beginner singer I just started my way.
And his word was : Yakir there is a private part going on and I can get you in. You just need to carry my tools means his heavy keyboard.
I said off course I’ll do it.
And the night began we got to an apartment there was just 2 people there its was around 21:00 and then people start to Come slowly with some drinks and food.
And then from the hallway I see EYAL GOLAN image coming in my way he was companied by his friend BENY PERETZ a big real estate developer.
And Israel famous model ILANIT LEVI
that just got her title that year
After a year from that day they got merried and then divorced 😦
LONG STORY SHORT:
The night started 30 people arrived to the party and we all set on the floor on pillows
Like Arabian night style!
And then slowly by slowly the music start to play my talented friend Avi put his fingers on the keyboard and music start to fill up the room.
And the dream is start I’m all high from just adjusting to the fact that Im in the same room with those cool young and beautiful peoples
EYAL took the mic and his voice start to fill up the room with softness and the atmosphere start to change room
All of a sudden EYAL notice me standing on the side try my best to look cool.
And he was calling me and told me to sit by his side. On the pillow
I was in shock but I played it nice.
He start to sing and then he pass the mic to me.
And I was singing oh boy I was singing.
Eyal smiled and let me fill like I’m the king and he is my fan.
This is a moment I took with me from then and on.
So the party was going till 5 in the morning
And I enjoyed every min of it. I could do it forever!
I thank eyal and he was acting like something else such a unique person.
The day after my friend AVI called me and told me I have a surprise for you.
I record to all night on a cd
I was so happy I listen to that and it was to all night on a cd.
Me and eyal golan singing.
So I could take this night with me everywhere I went.
That was on sep 2001
The year I left Israel to America
After 6 years Me and eyal golan meeting in Los Angeles on the same stage
I’m siting at the VIP room and eyal is coming in
He see me and hugs me and asked me Are you Still here?
I told him YES! Why do you remember me?
And I told me off course yakir you a friend of AVI
And I remember our recording from that night.
I was amazed
We took some pictures.
And I enjoyed his company
And enjoyed every second from that person.
And I was sharing this with you my friends this is one small story.
In my life.
The msg I want to deliver is.
that eyal golan showed me that even if you get that level you can still stay a human being
